A Clinical Effects of CCA Combined with Antiinflammatory Drugs in Rheumatoid Arthritis





Abstract
N-(2-carboxyphenyl)-4-chloroanthranilic acid disodium salt (CCA) is a immunomodulatory drug used i the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. CCA combined with several antiinflammatory drugs had been use for 30 patients diagnosed as classical or definite rheumatoid arthritis based on the criteria of ARA at the department of-orthopedic surgery, Yeiing Nam. University Hospital from February, 1988 to July, 198! After 8 weeks CCA treatment, 15 of 30 cases showed slight and better improvement. These resul suggested the effect and usefulness of CCA in reumatoid arthritis.
